My journey began in front of the camera with roles in Slacker and Dazed and Confused, and continued behind the scenes, working with visionary directors like the Coen Brothers, Barry Levinson, and Steven Soderbergh. With a background in production design and prop-making for acclaimed series like Mad Men and House MD, I built a strong foundation in visual storytelling, always focused on bringing stories to life with precision and artistry.

Six years ago, Lonesome Street Films expanded into the medtech industry, creating a highly successful video platform for Life Science Intelligence. We’ve since produced documentaries, product videos, and social media content for leading companies, helping innovators showcase their groundbreaking work.

At Lonesome Street Films, we handle everything from documentaries and commercials to product explainers, always with a commitment to cinematic quality. Our team combines deep industry knowledge with an unrelenting passion for the craft of filmmaking, creating content that inspires, informs, and connects.

Currently, we’re developing a series of existential slapsticks, blending humor and philosophy in ways that push the boundaries of traditional storytelling. Born into a family of builders, my passion for storytelling began early, playing Uncle Sam in a school play at the age of 6. Growing up in West Texas, I spent my childhood using my imagination to fuel creative projects, from theater to music. By 12, I was acting in local productions and fell in love with Shakespeare. This passion earned me scholarships to the University of Texas at Austin and Circle in the Square in New York, where I immersed myself in New York’s experimental art scene.

My film career took off in 1989 with roles in Slacker and Dazed and Confused, and after relocating to Los Angeles in 1994, I expanded my work both in front of and behind the camera. I’ve collaborated with filmmakers like the Coen Brothers, Barry Levinson, and Steven Soderbergh, and honed my skills in production design and prop-making on projects like Mad Men and House MD.

Six years ago, I shifted into the medtech space, helping to build a successful video platform for Life Science Intelligence and creating content for leading companies in the industry. Today, I run Lonesome Street Films, combining my diverse background in acting, music, and production to tell compelling stories. Currently, I’m developing a series of existential slapsticks set for production this year.

Throughout my career, whether through film, music, or teaching, I’ve always focused on one thing: the art of storytelling.
